MLK Day of Service
One of the most important ways to honor Dr. Martin Luther King is to do outreach. On the Monday, January 20th holiday, people from all over the nation will be volunteering to honor his legacy. This federal holiday offers us to have a “day on, not a day off” for a national day of service. The Bay Area has plenty of opportunities to find a volunteer opportunity that speaks to you whether it be improving parks, helping the elderly, food service for those in need, and so much more.
