OMCA’s Annual Dias de los Muertos Fest
Can you believe it’s been 25 years of festive goodness?! Join Oakland Museum of California’s 25th anniversary of its Dias de los Muertos celebration. A new exhibit will be opening and the official festival will be happening from Oct 19-20. There will be festive altars, fun performances, live music, tasty food, and family-friendly activities. The Day of the Dead started all the way back in the day with the Aztec Empire and continues throughout Mexico, Central America, Latin America and all over the world to celebrate loved ones who have passed on in a loving and joyous way.
